What happened is that he is so fast, that he broke the cosmic speed limit, breaking causality and universal laws, causing him to travel backwards through time. That is why "pep in your step" was used before his birth but is still about him.

I'm from CT., graduated from Middletown High, where Pep was born. My mother always told me that she and my grandfather used to watch the fights when she was growing up, and I never really saw the appeal. Well I'm an artist (painter in particular), and now I see this and I realize that boxing really can be an art form, just beautiful stuff. Man this guy took it to a whole different level what style and very effective too, really can't believe it!!

Thanks as always, haNZAgod I feel (after watching all of his techniques relating to spacing and timing) - this was the greatest (all around) defensive boxer of all times. I'm not alone. He's oftentimes number one on experts lists. Hell, even Bruce Lee studied this guy's footwork extensively.

Apollo Creed tried to train Rocky Balboa -using this music in his personal gym- in 1982. Paulie was quick to note that Balboa "ain't got no rhythm, you can't train a white guy the same way you do a coloured fighter..." William Pepperoni sure seems to have 'coloured rhythm.' I bet he can do a jig counter-clockwise, going backwards in an ice-rink....
