I have been a fan of Lana for about a decade, and there is no artist that can cover her like Angelina. I have seen many people try to cover Lana songs, and nobody even comes close. Angelina not only comes close, she adds a little extra in her voice that makes it even smoother to listen to than even Lana. ...also, as good as Lana is, her live game is not that strong. I think in head to head live battle Angelina wins every time. I was already a fan of Angelina before this, but when she did this cover of one of the most "un-coverable" artists out there, it locked it in... with this cover Angelina became my favorite female vocalist ever. If anyone had told me that my favorite vocalist would be a 12 year old from Norway, I would have said they were crazy... but here we are. No turning it back now ;)

I'm 65 yrs old and been a music lover all my life and yes it's little strange, but so it goes, Angelina is and have been also My favourite female singer since 2014 after when She won NGT competition age of eight! She hit Her Hook to me and there I hangin rest of My life. She is so extra ordinary talent, so different than anybody els artist, She's like a chameleon, no matter what is genre, She can perform every where many different ways and combinations. When She start to sing, She go to the somewhere different world, close the doors and make from song's Her own and result is always perfect to listen! In NGT combetition one judge said to Her, You are a music and this is more than true! She's so amazing! She has her own band, now. She does the arrangements, the music, and conducts. Not too bad, is she? She didn't care for the 'plosives' in the mike, so she got that cover. She plays four or five instruments, and so she can work on the music even when the band isn't there. Her family says she works on her music every spare minute she has, and she takes music at school as well. It makes you suddenly see a true dedicated performer, on top of everything else. She is directing the music, even though it's pre-recorded. She's rehearsed enough to know every entrance and every note by the various instruments. Watch her hand movements. I suspect that she uses that move with her hair as a signal to the band.

You're right Hap. She makes it look so easy. But it's actually a very difficult song to sing. Just ask all the artist who have tried to cover this Lana Del Rey hit (almost half a billion views on YT). It's a beast, and none have done a very good job of performing it, because the song is very demanding and Lana is hard to emulate, especially in the lower register. That is, until Angelina. And she just knocks it out of the park. This is in my top 5 favorite covers by Angelina. One reactor who has commented on several 100 artists' performances, rated this as his favorite of all. Pretty high praise. And I could tell that you, like the rest of us, are in awe of her amazing performance of the song. And you're right; one take, no editing---Amazing. Thanks Hap. 😊💕
