Lovely gifts. Always nice to receive homemade gifts. The button tree is something I have put off for a few years, I have been collecting green buttons from friends and charity shops. I also wish to do button snowman gift tags. Has soon has I saw the t-shirt I knew it was murder she wrote, love that show, along with Miss Marple starring Joan Hickson, who also solves murders and lives in a English village. If you haven’t watched it, I’m sure you will really enjoy it. Xxx

You’re right about time being valuable. I lost my identical twin in 2016, then my mother & mother-n-law in 2017, my lil brother in early 2018, followed by my maternal uncle the same year. His wife 11 months later and just when I felt I could collect my breath, my 2nd mother in March of 2022. It’s changed me. People don’t understand grief never stops as it’s like love.

Because I have Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma , cancer of the immune system- we are still having to live in the high caution COVID mode. No extended family gatherings, no Sunday Church, no restaurants and mask everywhere. It’s been a very long almost 3 years now. I’m grateful our church has a small Wednesday evening service that we can attend and be safe. The book anchor is so neat! I love the basket your dad made and the story behind it.

Happy New Year Hilary, I just love all the gifts you got especially the felted gifts your sister made. Our eldest daughter is very good at crafts and she made me and our other daughter beautiful cushions from the leftover fabric of her new curtains. She also made us. both origami cranes hanging from a thread with beautiful glass beads in between each one. She keeps sheep and made my husband the softest wool rug for him to put his feet on to keep them warm while he plays his guitar. Love your videos and hearing about your family. X
