I knew Pollux would hang out just outside the door when he heard plastic bag rustling noises. They all.learn real quick to associate certain sounds with either edible or toy goodies. Pets and kids hate closed doors, it piques their curiosity plus they feel shut out. Y'know, I really like your idea of giving the number of gifts equal to an age. P.S. Pollux is the spitting image of my childhood dog Rusty. Only difference is that Rusty had his tail docked as a pup by the breeder. We actually bought him as a Jack Russell terrier before the standardisation of the breed to the short legged ones. It brings a lump to my throat whenever I watch him. Happy birthday precious Pollux. He is just so cute and he looks so happy. It’s like he woke up knowing today was a special day. When he saw the rabbit and he already had the puppy in his mouth apart from the surprise he then had to consider how he was supposed to pack both of them around. He almost had steam coming out of his ears. Final decision; stay put with both of them. Enjoyed it.
