Happy Anniversary 🎉🎉 Great video recapping the year! Time flies ✈️😅 I hope you get the PDX transfer one day, however I'm curious how would that affect the type of trips you get? I'm with you on the keeping things domestic and going international sparingly mainly due to the time difference etc. When you bid for your schedule, are you able to specifically state you only want domestic trips? And perhaps leave the international for a days or picking up on your own, that is kinda what I would do. Also that is wonderful that they celebrate your anniversary! Was that LIFT event specific for the one year anniversary celebration? Or was it a company wide event? Excited to see where ever you non rev to, you definitely deserve some time off to relax and restore yourself ❤️

Congrats Valencia! You inspired me to apply for Endeavor Air and operate Delta Connections. A few questions? Do you get to choose your base? How intense is training away for 7 weeks? Does it add up/expenses (food, laundry, away from fam)? Are you able to drop or give away flights? How was sharing hotel room, do other classmates get their own hotel room at their expense? What’s the minimum hrs you can fly to stay active while being new? Congrats again, I appreciate and love your videos. Maybe one day I’ll see you in LGA

Hey There NYC. I’m so happy that the videos have inspired you to go for your dreams. That’s fantastic news. To answer your questions here we go… Bases will depend on what is available when you go through training. Yes, training can be a bit intense and unfortunately expenses do add up. Especially food cost so prepare for that. You can add and drop trips once on the line. I think 540 hours per year is the minimum. Hope that helps! Thanks for the comment and questions. Talk soon!😀

Hey there birthday twin. I actually did get a monthly base swap in October to PDX. So it will give me a taste of what it would be like not to commute. Hope you’re doing great. Talk soon.😃

What is your favorite plane type? And unfavorite? Have you had bad turbulence?
@valenciaflyer4 ай бұрын
Hi there. So my favorite plane to be a flight leader is the airbus 220. My least favorite is probably the Boeing 757Y. The airbus 321 Neo is also a very nice plane. Yes, turbulence is definitely part of the job. Overall, we deal with it quite well and we know that it is normal. There have been a couple times when things got extra bumpy as a surprise to all of us. But we roll with the punches, take our seats, and ride it out. Luckily nothing major has ever happened… So let’s keep it that way, ha ha. Thanks so much for the question and for watching. Have a wonderful night.😃

VF. Yea!!! For the one year and the $$ raise. So hope you can get into PDX. Number of trips will be smaller, but NO commute, again, NO commute. Commuting is really a second job. Herman
@valenciaflyer4 ай бұрын
Hey there, Herman, great to hear from you as always. You are very correct, sir… Commuting is definitely a second job. And one that I am trying to avoid. I did get a monthly base swap for October so I will be in PDX for that month. I will see how it is not commuting for October. In the meanwhile, I hope you’re doing great. Thanks again for everything. Have a great night.😁

Do you know anyone who got newly hired around 60 yrs old? With or without airlines experiences?

Yes. Many people. And it’s their first airline ever too.
