Adam Sandler wasn't in There's Something About Mary, that was Ben Stiller. I'd recommend The Wedding Singer as a fun Adam Sandler movie which also has Drew Barrymore. A bit of a Rom Com set in the 80's but it does stear away from some of Sandlers "Dumb" humor that some of his earlier movies are known for. Another I'd recommend is 50 First Dates(also with Drew Barrymore) some others I'd recommend are Airheads, Big Daddy, Click and for a more serious Adam Sandler, Spanglish. Hopefully you don't give up on his movies just yet. There are some good ones in there. The giant man who plays his former boss is Richard Kiel. A 221 cm tall actor who is best known for playing Jaws (a henchman with iron teeth) in two James Bond films, "The Spy Who Loved Me" (1977) and "Moonraker" (1979). People who have met him say that in real life he was one of the most soft-spoken, friendly, warm people imaginable. In 1992, he suffered a severe head injury in a car accident, which impacted his balance. Consequently, he had to rely on a cane for support (as seen in this movie), and later in life a wheelchair or a scooter.

Double bogey is when you make it in the hole 2 shots over what is standard for the hole. Bogey is one shot over. Par is breaking even. Birdie is one under par. Two under is an eagle. If you make it in the hole in one shot that is an Ace, more commonly known as the "hole in one". If your ball goes into a water hazard or is lost in tall grass and you cannot find it you take a drop and an extra stroke added to your score. A drop is when you take another ball and stand approximately close to where your ball was lost and drop the new ball over your shoulder. You then play the new ball from where it dropped as if you never lost your ball. A standard golf course has 18 holes. The first 9 holes are referred to as front 9 and the second 9 holes are referred to as back 9. As in going out and then coming back to the club house. They ask the gallery "spectators" to remain quiet while a golfer is making a shot to not break the concentration of the golfer. Golf is not just going out and hitting a ball around, well, yeah, it mostly is but it takes some serious concentration to plan each shot and then make it happen, especially when putting. You have to read the green and notice how the green lays out such as if it slopes one direction or another, wet, dry, windy. These are all factors that affect how the ball will roll and if you make the shot.

Her and my grandpa (died 2022) started their own landscaping business upon declaring retirement. Even at 80-years-old she's still doing it. That woman's a freak of nature, in the best way possible. Also, if you're going to try one more Adam Sandler film, I definitely suggest "The Wedding Singer." It's honestly the perfect Sandler film because while it does have his usual goofy comedy, it also shows some of his dramatic acting he's capable of as he has done some serious roles in his career.

When you're putting on a green with other people, after you hit your ball, you replace it with a ball marker so that other people can take their shots without having to worry about bumping into your ball on accident. In golf - at least in putting - other people's balls aren't really meant to be "in play" when someone's taking their shot. I think you're also generally allowed to move any sort of leaves or twigs that might be in the pathway to the hole. A ball marker is usually a small, thin disc so that if someone else's ball rolls over it, it hopefully won't affect the direction of travel too much. I could be wrong about this, but I'm pretty sure a coin is perfectly allowable to be used as a ball marker - though maybe not in professional games.

Carl Weathers is in another Adam Sandler movie called “Little Nicky”. Bob Barker agreed to do this when he saw that he was going to win a fight with Adam Sandler. They had a stunt double ready to do the fight and Bob said he could do it. He studied Tang Soo Do with Chuck & Aaron Norris. Lee Trevino (the guy that commented about Grizzly Adams) said if he had read the whole script prior to agreeing he wouldn’t have done the movie cause of the off “salty language”. Ed McMahon was supposed to be in the movie instead of Bob Barker. The fight with Barker was supposed to be a punch but they decided to do a full fight. After this movie came out the Price is Right’s viewership grew with college students.
