I have been watching you for little over 5 years and enjoy all your videos. You do not need to explain how your channels are run, remember they are yours and no one else's. I love the preservation of the Old Byrd Farm house, it is so important to preserve our old and historical houses and buildings. And most importantly our graveyards and cemeteries. Oh man, I think the same thing! It doesn't seem that long ago that he wouldn't have been able to see the house from where he was standing today. Now it's wide open space! We (his subscribers) are SO proud of him!!🎉❤ You're in Oregon! I lived in southern Oregon waaaay back when I was 6 to 8yrs old. We lived in Talent. Between Ashland and Medford. I remember LOVING it. We moved to California when I was 8 and here we've stayed (for 55 yrs!😱). Wishing you a healthy, happy 2025 for you and your family.❤

I love the old Byrd farm house. I have always wanted an old house like this. I would want it restored to the original look. I can imagine all 6 of my grands and 11 greats having holidays and school vacation’s with me there. Thank you for saving it !!! ❤️🙏👩🏻‍🦳

I actually became aware of you through Adventures Into History and then started watching Old Byrd Farm when you started that. I remember when you Cody were just trying to clear a road from the highway to the barn. I was overwhelmed wondering how you would ever claim this farm back from the grips of wisteria and privet....and it's not even my place!!! You persevered, kept going from saw, to chainsaw, from manpower to old tractor power, to new tractor power to neighbor's super excavator, from generator to electric power, from trashed out falling apart rooms to new joists and subfloor. And much more, like burning down a barn and building a critter proof chicken coop. You're amazing! Let's hope for a very happy, HEALTHY (no more covid!) new year! People said the same thing about our 130 year old home. Saving old homes are labors of love and we have been loving this one for 10 years. Hopefully she will be finished in the next 2 years. I started watching for the cemetery videos but was so happy when you started this restoration.

I've been very ill the whole month of December, in the hospital twice, and haven't been able to keep up with all the videos, but I do watch most of them.

I'm sorry that you've been so ill to be hospitalized two times. I pray that you're on the mend. I had a similar experience at the beginning of 2024. Hospitalized 3 times in 3 months with (a very stubborn...) C-Diff, an intestinal infection. I pray for complete healing and recovery. Wishing you a blessed 2025!🎉

Hey Robert! I have been with you since almost the beginning of OBF and Sidestep Adventures. This is a great channel. Genuine people caring about history and preservation of the area. The care of the old hidden cemetery areas warms my heart. The care to the smallest grave plot, for any person buried there. The careful documentation of what is found important to history.
