That’s an amazing 2 stroke!!! I had my own new year gift. I got my dream bike a monster energy kx250f with a fresh built motor too to bottom with fatty fmf and stage 2 hot cams. Wanted this bike for over a decade. Finally fell to a price I can swing and the right bike popped up. I dropped everything and went and got it. Wife was mad at first but she sees my enthusiasm and excitement and warmed up to it. So happy!!!

You are right about getting out and doing things like riding dirt bikes whatever you like. I turned 61 back in October and I still ride my 2004 Honda XR250r plus my two Harley's as much as I can. I walk 2 miles everyday plus lift weights and only eat once a day, I am getting better and better just doing that. Happy New Year.

I've got an RGV250 VJ22 converted into a 300. Man it makes a huge difference. The exhaust sounds to be blowing on yours...although that doesn't detract from how cool it is.

Always wanted one. Though in 82 or 83 purchased new an RZ350 (K Roberts signature ed) and in '86 the 1st gen GSXR 1100. Of course couldn't leave them stock. Club track days to live for! Ps. Where's the Kaw KDX400 from the other new years vid and auction of it?

I got out there at the beginning of September ,and the weather was gorgeous. And it pretty much stayed that way until the beginning of November. I had kind of settled into this kind of fog, that I liked, but I also felt this "certain unease in the air" Come election day I was definitely feeling under the weather. My back was abnormally stiff, and it took everything I had to get up out of my tent before noon because I needed that much time for it to warm up enough to even move. I wanted to get some mushrooms from my " consultant". It's the only drug I really do anymore, and with me they act more as a medication then anything recreational. But anyways I was waiting for her to show up in front of Target. Where we usually met. It started snowing, which I had expected. And there was about two inches on the ground. She showed up, then drove me to my campsite. Now this is where I have to concede that I don't have enough medical knowledge to absolutely say that I didn't have a stroke, or some kind of TIA, but I don't believe that's what happened. I kind of have a little paranoia after fat boy tried to kill me. When I got to my tent, I started feeling weird but started preparing my mushrooms and then everything is kind of blurry for the next 4 days. I would semi wake up, but at first I didn't know where I was, just that it was outside, and it was snowing heavy. My tent somehow collapsed from the weight of all this snow. On the fourth day I woke up long enough to realize I was in my underwear, soaking wet, with just my sleeping bag covering me, and looking up at what looked like four feet of snow towering above me. I'd already shit myself. It was just too intense to stay awake for. But what's weird is; I didn't feel too cold. On the 5th night, I woke up long enough to dig out my pants and my shoes, which were all soaking wet. I put them on and noticed a rash on the side of my torso that hurt like hell. It was bright enough to be able to see well enough to climb out. It was still snowing heavy. 30 in. of wet , heavy snow was too much for me that night. I was so dizzy, I kept falling down in the snow, which was freezing me to the point of being numb. I figured I would try the next day, and went to sleep again.

I know difficult.... Something you can relate to: changing the rings on my KX 125 without a ring compressor. You've got less then a quarter of an inch between those rings, and with Yamalube® all over my fingers, over everything..... I did it (Mojo Hands). This problem was definitely difficult!! But I woke up the next day and climbed out of there, and walked the half mile to the road through 30" of snow that was more like wet concrete. I got someone to call me and Ambulance, and found out I had pneumonia, had a heart attack... I was in bad shape. I spent a month in the hospital. I'm still not entirely healed. I had surgery on my left lung to embolize a complex of arterial veinous malformations. I've been getting along pretty good. The homeless guys out here have jobs, they look out for each other. I have to give credit where it's due: if it weren't for the Lord, I don't know where I would be!! I'm learning to trust 'im!!
