I just bought a grey hoodie today and I decided that it would be cool to add some little game pin decorations to express what I like. I've never done it before because I'm a bit scared of other guys on the street judging me and thinking I'm trying too hard to stick out or something but I'm also trying to be more confident and not think too much when I go out. Didn't think a bag could give me a bit of an existential crisis on what markings I'll leave behind once I'm gone lol. Everyone is unique, so personally I feel we live on through our actions as well. We all leave unique impacts though our interactions with others that'll sometimes influence their actions causing our initial influence to pass on more people and spread. I really like your philosophy about pictures. I feel like people don't take into account the importance of having a simple file or print with our face so we can be remembered when we pass away. We all have the grandparent whose pictures are so low quality or deteriorated that we have to imagine their face instead of knowing it, and I always think I don't want to be that person, I want my grandchildren to be able to see me as my loved ones saw me through my life. These ideas began when I started doing photography as a hobby. Which makes me wonder, do you like photography too? that's so real i've been thinking the same thing, like, in the end the only thing that remains of us is what we put into the world, and if we choose that to be something that reminds people of us, or tells people something about us, then it's a nice way to be remembered i think, even if the people who see that piece of us have no idea who we were. that's why i've been keying every car with my full legal name to make sure everyone in 100 years knows who i was.
