Trippy spin king! Nice flying and review. I have an x-12 on a Crux3 rebuild that I just about ripped the camera plug off. Pins are tiny and I don’t think I will be able to fix it. Good little flight controller unless you hit a stop sign or ram it upside down in the concrete 😅. Newbee drone canopy is definitely more robust.

Broken 3 cameras with minor bumps on happy model canopies, I think there's a pattern with these style of canopies. Probably worth replacing immediately to prevent cameras breaking.

Dude i laughed so hard only seeing your thumbnail👍! I thought the name had to be baseline.... The brokeline flew a lot better though :) maybe they should start shipping it with Quicksilver.... And mine is still in one piece because I haven't flown it yet..... And awesome review!

You weren’t kidding second flight accidentally grazed against the pole and it completely destroyed the canopy and took the antenna off. And also I went to go land from my flight. And be careful landing this you have to be very very careful because if you, Nick or hit the front at all, it will destroy the motors. (doesn’t physically hit the motors, but the force throws magnets of the motets around and kills the motors)

Great review. Ya those canopies are trash plastic. We’ve had brand new crux3 show up with a cracked canopy inside of a padded drone case. Seems they crack without flying. 👀

I destroyed X12 in Bassline exactly like you did (same angle, crushed VTX and RX). The camera even survived so I think the canopy really is prone to this and should be replaced straight away.

So far I personally have had great luck with the x12. I know some folks have had issues though. I think I have 4 builds using x12 currently, all good 👍

I also have also five flying in different builds namely a fractal 75 1s a iflight baby nazgul 1s a rocket race 1s 2inch a bassline 2s a flywoo firefly freestyle 1s Iam still using the same x12 that came in my mobula7 1s also still works. So for me the x12 is working 👍 great.

You ripped the shit out of the Bassline. That first crash was a hard one. Kind of sucks that it broke despite the grassy cushion. Concrete might have made it explode LOL. Still, the rebirthed "Flatline" (Brokeline) seemed to still kick ass. Cool review.

As I understand it raceband channels are locked to 25mw. You were trying to use 400mw on a raceband channel but you were probably only getting 25mw being output, in case you didn’t realise!

So with these AIO flight controllers that have built in VTX, I've never heard of that. And most people I know run on Raceband, usually R8. I would love to read whatever it was from Oscar, tho. A quick search I couldn't find it.

@@InfinityLoops Thanks. The thing that always concerns me is HM’s quality consistency. I bought 2 mob6’s and one is great, the other no so much. Got a mob7 1s and it twitches all over the place and motors on fire after 1 min (out of the box). Noticed on the m7 that camera wires wedge tight against the frame so probably explains the issue. To fix either need to cut frame or remove camera harness plug and direct solder 😫

Yeah, proprietary parts are a BIG PROBLEM with ANY EMAX drone under 3". STAY AWAY!

@@modquad18 maybe so, but when you have to replace parts, it's gotta be only from EMAX! motors are 3 hole! Yeeee! Flight controller is constantly out of stock, really expensive, and it's the only one that fits! Can't you see? They do this on purpose to make sure you can't use any other parts you might have laying around from other builds, or buys! That's fucked up! People in this hobby for any time at all hate that shit! We all have parts to fix things on hand so we don't have to wait forever to have them come in. Can't do that with Emax micros! And, they're one of the only companies that do proprietary parts, so why buy them? They're just ok drones. So many are much, much better! 🤔👍

Why do people like that Caddx Ant camera?!! IT SUCKS! Just look at how much better the image is with the Razor camera! Incredibly better. This truly tells us "We get what we pay for!" LOL PS. 0802 motors would make this quad significantly lighter, but it'll still have plenty of power and much more flight time.
