I grew up listening to Anne Murray's music and I enjoyed it then and still enjoy it now. She's one of the best musicians of all-time. I'm most familiar with James Taylor's version of this song but I really like Anne's version too.

I love the way Anne Murray sings this song. Words sound sincere, you can feel it. Friendship is true, is free and can be forever. I wish to believe that I have friends even here, in this place. I'm aware that, if you are reckless, sometimes it's not a nice place. I have nothing to offer, I'm not a wealthy person (just the opposite) and I have not a special talent for this or that. Anne Murray seems like.she understands spiritual warfare and being a peaceful warrior... I keep thinking that that's the kind of debt u can't pay back because if some one is is fighting for you it is neither because you can't or won't...fight back or fight towards somethings...if there is a deliberate attack ... a calculated malicious act against the Devine shining through one who needs defence....they likely won't ever be able to pay that back...i guess she keeps singing isn't it good to know you've got a friend...and all I can think is I don't want anyone spirit to bleed for me...i don't want another soul to know the depth of sorrow I've experienced and the apathy that now plagues me would certainly leave one fighting for the spirit in me to feel hopeless...or if the deeply do care .. they would feel pain... so no... the best thing I can do for those I love is keep them awa
