I am 53 years old now. These songs just remind me of my old man driving slowly on a Sunday to visit the grandparents and his brother, memories brought back by the music are the most powerful memories.

I wish this was true. I wish I had that person. The good friends I remember from back in the day when we all listened to this have faded in the distance and gone. Nobody's gonna come running. Nice that there was once a time though...

This is a classic, an icon of its era, like the two stars. But I never go along with this 'it was always better in the old days.' You just have to look harder. Try, for instance, Lily Kershaw's Myth of New York.

This song popped up on my KZbin feed a few months ago ever since it never left my playlist and I love this gem that was created over 50 years ago. Old is truly Gold ❤

Such a beautiful version of this song! I love hearing Carol King play the piano while James Taylor sings and plays the guitar. I also love how he gives Carol credit for writing the song. Both are talented musicians in their own right. I’ve enjoyed listening to both of them since the early 70’s. This song will always have a soft spot in my heart. 🌻❤🎵

Many a night I sat in my bedroom feeling so lonely and forlorn. James Taylor came over the radio and sang this song 🎵! As silly as this must sound I truly believed he was singing this song just for me! Thank you James for the gift of your music 🎶! I had the privilege of attending several concerts...the latest was July 1st 2024!

When my amazing , incredible daughter was young , I told her this was the "Daddy Song" because I wanted her to know I'd always be there for her whenever she might need me. I sent this video to her today, 24 years later, to make sure she still knows.
