The wood in bottle 1 is filled with liquor for drinking and the other is for rubbing for pain. Lots of vietnamese liquid meant to rub for pain is actually very effective! It's a Chinese medicine recipe that has been used for thousands of years, when i was young I had to use a rub for a sprained ankle. The old lady wanted 120k for the bottle but the lady that came in to write it down it was her idea to Jack it up to 150 Haha. The 2 old ladies sitting was very cute and friendly. The lady who sold you a coconut said you should marry a vietnamese wife, she wanted to know your age and ask if you were married or had any kids, she wanted to hook you up! Haha always entertaining to watch your videos harald.

I really agree with the last bit. Never had issues communicating when I was in Vietnam. In some countries the people just are very willing to understand what you say and the message will get across even though you don’t speak the same language.

You are a generous man, people appreciate that. Back in history during the Vietnam war the entire Scandinavia especially Sweden strongly supported Vietnam. Vietnamese will never forget it, and they are naturally very engaged to visitors from the West. These ladies are from past generations so they struggle a bit with their English, but younger gegerrations are learning foreign languages English particularly as the country is widely open to trade with the whole world.
