Great video…. (I’m Malaysian). I visited Harbin in the year 2008…. the temperature was-38….. COLD!!! Ya , the ice sculpture was really worth the trip…. Now I see from your video… there’s a big building that can keep you warm and having restaurants in it… in 2008 there wasn’t any building like that… when we feeling too cold… only place was a small tent where they selling hot drinks … During then I only saw a few western young guys visiting… This year especially blows throughout the world….

Every country that receive Chinese nationals, should have reciprocal treatment for their travellers. That is, they can only stay at designated more expensive hotel, they should be registered with the police, they can only get tourist destination tickets from special ticket booths, this is only fair.

Have you ever travelled overseas? That's how tourist attractions work. Even Universal Studios does it for their theme parks all around the world. As for the "designated more expensive hotel", this policy is put in place due to the fact that some hotels in China do not meet the standards for tourists. This is how they choose to maintain impressions for tourists. I've been to one of them, and trust me, you would prefer going for the "designated more expensive hotel".
