Quite a few different ways the "bend a brake" like "skinning a cat" . ..... kzbin.info/www/bejne/qYLWi36rj8x5gpo I mount the HF brake onto a length of 2x10 so it can be clamped to the work bench, and hung on a wall when not in use.. Also used 3/8" thick angle iron, and did not weld the flexible break bar so that it could be reversed. With the angle iron upright towards the front it prevents bends greater than 90 degrees, but the angle iron can be reversed and flexible bar pushed forward for bends greater than a 90. "I" bolts were threaded into the thicker angle iron to keep the flexible bar flush with the bottom surface of the break bar. Both ways are certainly better than the stock model.

i couldn't get it why you show so much irrespect for your audience by showing so much harmful welding on the screen, that is unnecesary & absurd! 💩👎🏽

thanks for the comment. I am not a professional welder, just someone trying to use initiative to improve the tools and skills I have. Folks gotta start somewhere!!

Looking at welding arcs on an LCD is no different than looking at a white LCD screen. The LCD doesn't magically become so bright to damage your retinas like an exposed welding arc.

Well the bright arc flash was not so bad but the resulting welds were pretty hard on the eyes! Thanks for sharing, it's great to see people make use of what they have at hand to make improvements in their lives.
