I have natural gas to my house so I modified the carburetor to run on nat. gas, propane or gasoline. I pulled the spark plug after a year on nat. gas, and it is spotless: looks new. Spark arrester is clean. Runs smooth; never misses a lick. Definately have mine set up to run "forever" Large Carl

From what I understand the NGK spark plugs give this thing better fuel economy.

The FIRST thing that I bought in preparation for any hurricane induced power outage was...... TWO CARBON MONOXIDE DETECTORS. They are THE most important part of your kit folks.

Best tip to prevent carburetor problems is to run Race Gas, as it is ethanol free. It is the alcohol in today's gasoline that corrodes internal carburetor parts. I run a leaded race gas.........a bit pricey, but well worth it.

Where did you find an extra battery? Does it fit inside the unit? I saw another video that said the battery was basically made specially for the unit, and was unable to find a replacement that fit inside.
