Harbor Freight's Iron Armor Truck Bed Coating - How To Do It Yourself!

Just a quick video on how to do a spray on/roll on bed liner at home with minimal tools needed. Don't pay someone to do this when you can do it yourself! This retails for $50 a gallon at Harbor Freight Tools, but keep on the lookout for coupons to bring it under $40.

The only problem I had was the same you had with the tape lines. I think it comes out better if you pull the tape before it starts to dry. It leaves a much cleaner line. Its more difficult especially when doing multiple coats, but the line is much cleaner.

You can buy tape with a thin wire in it thats whats supposed to be used when applying bedliner

Hey bro, thanks for sharing. I'm going to do mine now. Now I'd like to share something with you...next time use 3-M tape, or like you said a high quality paint tape. With 3-M you can't go wrong and it will come off a lot easier too. By the way I gsve a thumbs up 👍.

I wish I could! I sold the truck a few months after putting the liner in. While I had it, I liked it. I’m putting some in a yard wagon soon, maybe a video to follow.

I wound up selling the truck. But in the few months i had the liner in it, it held up quite well. I mostly threw shovels and rakes in there.
