I have one of those....the sweet spot I have found for it is working on my big wheel garden tractor with flat fenders. Pretty handy! But now that you mention it, I work with a lot of very old Hyster forklifts with curved counterweights. This might make it handier to haul tools around on the back of the lift without them rolling off!

I've need to get all 3 of those. I haven't had any, but many tinkerers I know do. They're extremely handy for tinkering at the desk or bench, which I do a lot of with rc's, or whatever else I'm allowed to take apart around the house. The big plastic tray I re-purposed has got to go. You're the first person I've seen review these, so thanks. I don't get out much anymore, so I have rely on people like you to show me these things. And happy birthday, buddy.

Oh yeah, these would be great for something like RC cars. If you did want something more solid, Ernst has a really good 3 row and 10 compartment tray...plus you have a few color options. I've had this one about 8 months and it has held up well. Oddly , I can't think of a time I have seen them "on sale" at HF, but when they do a generic discount, or "X" off under "Y" you could pick them up and saw a little. Thanks for the kind words and I hope the mat serves you well!

I have the mid-size one and love it. Perfect size for engine bay work. I've also used it for organizing labscope leads and accessories. Careful, putting it on paint cause the bottom is sticky and can hold grit.

I have a VIM tray, likely same tray (?) And it washes off with degreaser and water in seconds leaving a basically dry tray after a shake off or blow off.

I've got this one sitting on a fan shroud right now, lol...it has been all over the shop and has held up pretty well for about 3/4 of a year now. Yep, I cringe when I see people slap these on a fender.

I've only cleaned mine once...just used quick detailer, but it also wasn't very dirty. I'll have to try hosing it down next time!

I've been contemplating a Mac tray that is kind of a hybrid between this and the conventional magnetic parts tray, but I can't really justify the $99 for something I think should be $30 max. In terms of magnetic trays, I'm actually a big fan of the Hazet. Tons of people have the same thing, but oddly there iteration is usually the best price. Thanks, the bday was quite a while ago since I stack videos, but I appreciate it!

I have liked this one well enough to pick up the others...I just always forget, or use the discount on something else. It has been pretty good the last 8 months or so.

Chemical resistance: Silicone is resistant to heat, fungus, chemicals, ozone, and UV rays. Non-toxicity: Silicone is non-toxic. Ease of manufacturing: Silicone is easy to manufacture and shape. Silicone is used in many industries, including: Medical: Silicone is used in medical devices and implants. Food processing and storage: Silicone is used in cooking, baking, and food storage products. If you buy all 3 they store and nest together in the big one
