While inserting power adaptor, use it carefully or due to low power your hDD data will get corrupt & hDD will show status as unused space....This happens 5 out of 3 if your power adaptor does not give required Voltage output

Happened to me...once i connected external hdd with mobile...one time it gone good...but after using it like that for many times.. external hdd got corrupted and the reason is what you mentioned
