Hard Enduro Training @Wern DDU Quarry 300 TPI

It has been a while since I have ridden the KTM 300 TPi in fact it was last November 2021. With a trip to Wern DDU quarry coming it had to be the weapon of choice for what was about to come. A great day was had riding with Carl Venter and Darren Heyes pushing the boundaries with a mixture of success and some torturous moments. Not having ridden this bike for a while I was a little out of tune with it. One of the biggest problems was no grip on the seat which on the steep technical climbs is a problem as you hang on a lot more and it proves tiring causing forearm fatigue. Also its difficult to stay in a central position in those critical moments. This issue I have not noticed on the GPX bike which has a decent grippy seat cover. For certain I will be getting a #1 Gripper seat from Eurotek next week.

I enjoy this video so much! Gnarlyyyyyy!! This is we’re real men are made hahah reminds me of a hill we were on weeks ago!!my go pro was dead but I spent 30 min trying to get up one section of a hill!! Falling left and right clutching to keep the front down cause we were so vertical and back flip over a few times but we finally made it to the top and it was the best feeling in the world!! Good work my guy!! Staying calm is key in those situations Iv learned!! Can’t panic or else you drain yourself even more!! This was a great video man! Loved it

Thanks man , sure can be hard its all a state of mental approach , rider ability and fitness. Anyone can do this you just need to want to do it. I know my limits and when to take a safer route. The more you ride the fitter you get and the ability grows. Good luck with the channel bud.
