Brilliant, you might have lost a couple but that was still a great little session. The wind was very nice to you at least initially. Bugger of a place for wind usually. When we first went fishing up north we lost a few big fish until we worked out the right gear to use.

Great to see all the wildlife and it interacting with you. Along with the other fishing item you mentioned maybe a Priest stick to administer the last rites might be an idea as that would have been a lot of teeth and trebles flapping around in the boat if you did manage to get it aboard. When you're landing the toothy critters, keep them away from the fuel line. A cut in the wrong place could spell disaster if you're on your own. Keep a gaff, boat hook and billy club clipped under the gunwhales so they are always there. When you do your travel clips, can you put in titles at the start with the location, month and year so that future viewers can use it as reference material in planning their own trips. Site numbers when you go to places like Winderabandi would help too. Have a great time on the big trip.

Yeah I would say most people don't over this way. Ideally I would love dual outboard, but then it's double the cost, servicing and maintenance too :(

@@WildTouring interesting, most domestic boats will have, at least a 2.5 auxiliary engine especially if going out to sea in NZ ( not necessarily twin outboards) and on lakes for that matter. Anyway you obviously keep yours well serviced.

GAFF GAFF GAFF Excellent video. Love it. This is exactly the type of video that everyone wants to watch. North West is best! Everyone lives the Coral Coast/Ningaloo area. We all want to see some 4wdriving + Fishing + Camping + Cook up + Wrap up of what went well plus honest opinion of what didn't + testing of new gadgets and equipment that make the trip better and easier. This is the perfect recipe for a successful video. Where I reckon you could improve is the filming of your cook up and the finished product. It's always too dark, not enough good lighting and we don't get to appreciate the care and effort and quality of your cook ups. Do a Harry Fire to Fork B-roll lol. Apart from that...I love your videos because they sit perfectly at the higher end in between amateur/crappy quality and pro/over polished quality. It makes them so relatable and watchable. Also....you're a fantastic narrator and I love the friendly and honest way you describe things. The cocktail thing could become you're thing. Campers love stuff like this. Thank you for all your time, effort, cost and hard work putting these videos together so we can enjoy along with you. Cheers. D9 from Perth

Hey mate, sucks about the hard drive! I know your pain I lost 2 years of KZbin content from a hard drive crash, I recommend just using memory cards. Costs more but I've never heard of anyone having an SD card crash. Great video as well ways!
