This song has more meaning than words can ever express. While living on the road in tents on the Oregon and Washington coasts along with living deep in the most gorgeous mountains with the love of my life.....this is the song i prayed he would sing to me each time he decided to beat the life out of me :-( None the less, I love this son with all my heart and pray for the day a man come's into my life that can sing this song to me from the bottom of his heart.

This song is truly beautiful. It has a great message in it and is beautifully written. I haven't seen the film but I really appreciate Eddie Vedder's work; as a solo artist, in Pearl Jam, and in compilations with bands such as Tom Petty. Keep it up.

Don't ya just love it when you suddenly discover something that's been there the entire time?? This happened to me about a year or so ago with Eddie Vedder..... I inadvertently came upon this video, and although I'd heard the song on the radio occasionally as well as the Pearl Jam songs down through the years, I never paid much attention to them til that point! Then, of course, I started goin back through their past material and kinda fell in love with songs I'd been hearing through only one ear for decades now! Even though this song was written by a guy from Ontario, Canada Eddie's cover is amazing!
