I travelled from NS, Canada to NYC the day of this show on a whim using money from my deceased mother's house sale for the plane tickets, hotel, and concert tickets. About halfway through the first verse of this performance I was in full tears. I was 27 at the time of this show and some of my most sappy, vulnerable, gooey memories of growing up are to The Strokes' first album and this song. I would have spent every penny from the sale of the house to see the Strokes play this one song live. Life is short guys. You gotta grab onto what gives it purpose to you and never let go. Don't hesitate, believe.
