The Strokes, easily my personal favorite band and at least one of the best bands of the 2000's, is making a new single very soon. I have no words for this, as I am absolutely psyched to know they are still together, and that they are continuing to make excellent and diverse music! In musical history, very few bands are able to survive, keep the same sort of energy or flow in their music and here The Strokes are again; 15 years later, still a band, still performing, still thinking of keeping alive. And it is very hard for bands like The Strokes to carry on that Post-Punk Revival style today, because the world's music culture is even more accessible and diverse, and I find this even more amazing that they still have a loyal, energetic and nostalgic fan base supporting them since 2001. Long live The Strokes!!!!!!!!!!
