I owned a coyote. And every time I hear the car I laugh cause it had a vw beetle engine and chassis. Mine was in pretty bad shape and had no engine. I restored it and installed a turbo charged vw engine in it to give it more reistic TV show 😂 power. It wasn't the best handling or most comfortable car to drive or good lookin for that matter. But it was unique and people alys asked about it and lot recognised it from the show and most were shocked to know it had a vw engine

If I was really going to try and come up with anything up to that last minute, I might have left in more of the engine noise highest revving longer at the very start, and perhaps mid way through (but I appreciate that’s not musical as it’s a sound recording/effect)

Fun facts: the show was called "Face & Crown" in Brazil for some reason (Cara e Corona) and "El auto rojo" = "The red car" in Argentina. If anything, I would have called it "Coyote". 😂

I love this show back in the 80s. I recently discovered it comes on one of our local channels here in Los Angeles county. I've been enjoying watching the reruns and reliving my childhood. I've often considered purchasing a manta mirage kit and theming it after the coyote. The Manta mirage and the coyote from the show we're both inspired by the McLaren m6gt. Even though the first three coyotes were nothing more than movie props built on the frame of a Volkswagen beetle, it's still an iconic car. In addition, the final three coyotes were actually built on the platform of a delorean. That's why there was a major design change between season 1 and 2.

Let's be honest, in some sense it always sounded like this - in our minds, when we would skip dinner just to make it timely to the TV and could escape the reality of school next day, these TV shows kept us upbeat. Listening to these remixes is like having the mental remaster you heard in your head years earlier finally available to stream. Because they never sounded great blaring out of a miserable TV speaker, getting its interference ridden signal as an analog terrastrial broadcast. @Enzo: I like the ToTo-esque synths there, really adding the oomph, suits it very well.

Awesome, you're playing the playlist of the intro music of my childhood again. After He-Man the last time Hardcastel and McCormick. That was again a series with a great intro song in seasons 1 and 3. In the 2nd they tried a different one but the fans didn't like it ;) So now I'm excited to see what comes next. There would still be CHiPs, Trio mit 4 Fäusten, in the original "Riptide" Highwayman, Battlestar Galaktika, The Man from Atlantis, and so on, just think of good songs from the 70s, 80s and 90s, it won't be missing.
