Stun preventing stun from Smite and adds on VC is huge. I'll be looking for that in the next dungeon draft. I though the video length was great. (would still watch the 20 minute one tbh, but I appreciate that you kept it useful) Thanks for sharing your knowledge again. :)

I remember a rumor in vanilla how mobs would wield a rare/epic weapon if they would drop it. Nice to see there is at least one mob with that behaviour.

The mobs around the Altar of Storms in Blasted Lands had/has (don’t know if it’s in modern classic) this attribute. They wield the weapon that they will drop, be it a grey trash item or blue BoE axes that I sometimes farmed back in the day. Edit: Specifically the Shadowsworn Warlocks drops Axe of Rin'ji and is easy to spot if they’ve spawned with the item.

Very useful - I was tempted to make a classic non-HC character to practice these dungeons where failure isn't *FAILURE* --- but this was informative and made tanking it for the first time relatively easy and less stressful. Even pointed out some of these tips to the group which made these a lot easier and relaxed.

Also, you can kite mr. smite back some ways on the dock leading back the way you came, and he will stun still you, but run all the way back to the chest to change weapons. Depending on the distance you will likely be unstunned by the time he gets back to your group. So he doesn’t get free autos on you while your stunned

I think this is a good length to get clicks and cover the important safe areas in each part of the dungeon. I don't think it's too fast. You may have even been able to cut a bit from the boat in my opinion and still been Ok. I appreciate all of your informative and helpful content. I've played this game a lot, but there are still quite a few things in your videos that I hadn't heard of. It's funny the way many things would have been insignificant ("who cares"), but become incredibly useful with the hardcore game mode. I'm really enjoying hardcore WoW, and I've noticed there are a lot of people trying it that are new to WoW. I'm sure if I'm finding your videos helpful and entertaining, they must be invaluable to people that haven't played much WoW Classic before. I think more of these dungeon tips videos would be great, but I look forward to whatever content you find time to create. Cheers!

I've been playing Vanilla on and off since 2004. Over the years I've tried as many things in the game as I've managed to think of: playing every spec with every class through endgame content, 1-60; soloing as much content as possible (such as Scholomance full solo clear); grinding every dungeon hundreds of times -- the list goes on. As you can imagine, I've messed around a lot in Azeroth, and it may not come as a surprise to you that all of these tricks were already known to me. However, I want to commend you for creating such a great video packed with a lot of original information with minimal fluff. I doubt I could have made a better video myself. There are a few even more obscure tricks that might be of some value to players. I'll mention a few off the top of my head: 1) Defias Overseers cast an AoE buff on their allies increasing their attack speed by 50%, so prioritize killing them first in big pulls, 2) after the shredder dies, you can outrange Sneed and avoid going to combat directly, 3) you can get past the final door without lockpicking/skeleton keys/seaforium charges/cannon with every class using the Elixir of Giant Growth + relog exploration technique, 4) Mr. Smite and Edwin VanCleef both have Thrash.

Very helpful video! Im playing hardcore on turtle wow and will be able to run deadmines soon so I was looking for hardcore specific tips and voila I found this video. A video series idea I had that I've been looking for is an escape guide for each class. For example as a paladin when I accidently pull too many mobs during solo play what abilities/potions and in what order should I use them when trying to run away. So many of the HC death videos I've seen have clips of people dying when trying to run away and the reacting streamer is like welp they definitely could of played that better but they don't explain how lol.

Just tested and it still works for me, mobs were likely too close when you got in.
