Love the series so far! I haven't played halls myself, but some other bullet heavens. Have you tried scaling damage over defense in the beginning? Damage means you kill more, which means more experience. Move speed is also a better defense, because when you don't get hit it doesn't matter how much damage enemies do. it's pretty hard early on to scale damage and attack speed high enough to completely carry. if we had a better healing item this might be a different case!

I just started the video but something came to mind. With character losses, will you still be able to hit 30 vendor buys after subtracting the missed gear unlocks? Off-hand I just remember shadow cloak, duelist spark, war chief's visor, shepherd's boon, defiant plate and mask of madness.

Yeah if we fail hard enough that could happen. I'm thinking might need to do low torment to keep collecting items, otherwise we'll only see greens
