I came here to get a refresher on your warlock leveling guide you made back when classic first dropped (which is my all time favorite), and this led to the rabbit hole of hearing about this whole situation. I normally don't leave comments on KZbin or any other social media for that matter, but I wanted to leave this here to iterate some other comments on how your videos really have a positive impact to the community, and to hopefully articulate your impact on people like me who fall into the "wider-audience" category. On a personal level, no one knows what's it's like to be in your shoes with everything going on. We are all outsiders looking in, but I want call out something comforting that even a casual viewer like myself can perceive: I don't remember word-for-word, but there was a comment a fellow viewer left on one of your interview-style videos that really stuck with me. It went something like "I wish I was 1/4 as passionate about anything as these guys are about classic wow". And I couldn't agree more with that comment in watching the video, you can't fake the genuine excitement of your discussions. I would think about that comment from time to time. It reminded me that if we find passion in what we do, it's worth doing. This next part is where I might diverge from the "avid" members of the classic and hardcore community, as I'm ignorant to the details of the entire current situation - and frankly, the details don't matter to me. I am a person who works a 9-5 job for a living. I pay my bills and play videogames for fun - yes I play classic for fun. For content creators like yourself, this is your job. Viewers like me are not at all impacted with a group trying make extra money with an addon or other addition business ventures. In fact, at the boiler plate it seems like an obvious opportunity and nobody should feel persicuted for selling optional guides or advertising their sponsors for video stream events. I don't think I'm a "rare" type of viewer. In fact probably quite the opposite now that COVID is behind us. Many of us are back in action in the workforce outside of azeroth and discord. I just wanted to give the perspective that for so many of us, RXP, sponsors, other content creators - none of that matters. Your content and the passion you bring in them is something that stands on its own, and we really hope to see these great videos again.
