What a legend. Cool interview. I basically gave up all forms of recreational drugs (including caffeine and alcohol) about five years ago and then transitioned to a vegan and plant based lifestyle three years ago. Took up skateboarding two years ago after a ten year break. And I've always loved punk rock and hardcore. It's awesome that this healthy, conscious, PMA lifestyle is becoming more common with older people and younger alike. I've never felt better!

Went vegan in June. Been alcohol and drug free 11 years. Just took up skating again this year. Its good to see others doing equally positive things.

Hardcore saved my life and I mean that wholeheartedly, I grew up with a lot of anger and mental health issues feeling like the odd one out coupled with childhood trauma I just never felt like I belonged anywhere or could relate to others and for the first time I felt like I had a thing or place to call my own.. hardcore and punk is so much more than just music. It taught me life's tough but I'm tougher, always forward and keep trying! Edification and empathy is the meaning of life

Music creates powerful messages to let others know they are not alone from children to adults. It is great to see a Toby shine a positive message to the masses since it does make a difference in our world. How many people are vegan because of Meat is Murder by the Smiths or anti-drug because of Straight Edge by Minor Threat? Great podcast Rich!
