I'm a punk drummer grrrl and had my "a-ha" moment in 1978 when a little calf I met licked my face, making me realize that they were no different than a dog. I immediately stopped eating meet, transitioned to veganism and became involved in the AR movement. In the 80's I co-wrote a Ruggedy Annes tune about factory farming called "Pretty Package." I always wonder when punks aren't vegan since they should be the first to see through societal bulls**t. By the way, blackstrap molasses is also high in calcium.

I think that social media is the negativity that inhabits our lives. Coming out of that digital haze and being in the world FOR REAL presents a very different perspective. Let's do more of that.

Negativity has been here before the age of Internet. Most of the people will never find out where the negativity comes from to them. If you feel like social media is what brings negativity to your mind, don't use social media, and you'll be healed.

I quit eating meat in 1985...in Florida...i didnt even know a soul that ate that way. No internet either. Ive never had to go to a doctor for an illness since then. Im 55 and the only medical care ive had was for accidents trauma surgery. The surgeon told me he never saw bones fuse so fast as mine when i was 40 and shattered my arm. No processed food or fake vegan products.. No cooked oils no sugar no table salt..no alcohol.

"Molasses is a prime example of a junk food. This is a product which has been so degraded that it really should not be called a "food" at all. It has been refined, processed, contaminated with poisons and boiled to such an extent that it could never be of any benefit and, in fact, will contribute to toxicosis if ingested. So let us take a look at this "super junk food." - T. C. Fry, life science health system

Rich, get RFK Jr. on the show. Just do it. Aside from his 40+ years of being deeply committed to the principles of being in recovery and practicing stoicism, among other things, I just really think if you had him on it would one of your all-time great shows. Anyway.... yes, I'm a supporter of RFK Jr. In quick, random order, here's some of my reasons for supporting RFK Jr... -genuinely wants to heal the 'culture war' divide in our country, and he has the ability to, being liked by many different 'types' of people from across the spectrum of issues and ideas, who are tired of the 2-party duopoly -calm, humble, has integrity, has courage, truth seeker in general, thinks for himself (not a DNC/RNC puppet) -not phony -incorruptible, cannot be bought -thoughtful and introspective -deeply considers problems and possible solutions -wants to get rid of 'Citizens United' and the power of the big private money controlling government -vocal about putting an end to corporate capture over government (pharma, banks, oil, military industrial complex) -wants to get us out of 'forever wars' and to pull back on and expose the corruption within the military industrial complex -wants to pull back NATO and resolve the Ukraine problem via negotiations -vocal about the dishonesty and agendas of commercial media -wants to abolish all pharmaceutical advertisements on television (this has major influence on the 'news' narratives) -wants to keep the pharmaceutical industry honest with safety testing, transparency, etc -wants to get rid of government assist crony capitalism and subsidies for big ag, oil, etc -advocate for civil liberties -vocally against censorship (will free Snowden and Assange on 'day 1') -against mandates and police state-like policies -classical liberal sensibilities with respect of others (without the 'woke' or fake identity politics) -vocal commitment to transparency regarding FBI, CIA, NSA over-stepping and out-stepping -passionate about environmental and ecological concerns -passionate about cleaning our food supply and exposing the unhealthy ingredients in processed 'foods' -wants to bring preventative health more into public discourse; nutrition, exercise, etc -will immediately close the border (this is not some republican scare issue, it is a very major issue - for many reasons) -has an excellent plan to make homes affordable for all, including a program that backs mortgages at 3% and a tax structure to keep Black Rock from continuing to buy everyone out (this also will bring rent cost down dramatically) -due to his family/background, he's well-learned from the inside of the various power structures -due to his decades as an attorney successfully taking on major corporations, as well as government regulatory corruption, he is exceptionally well-suited for taking on the myriad of corporate capture over our government
