As a 2004 player the nostalgia of machinima vs your own _excellent_ fresh take and incredible animation brings me so much happiness! Im sharing this with some friends who wanted to experience wow for the first time and so got me playing classic again (after a long time outta tnhe game) this just rounds out the whole experience i wanted to share with them without making them feel like they're playing "catch up" to my nostalgia and old vids, something new for all of us to enjoy together. I love how despite using the old models, they are 10000x more expressive than any modern wow ingame cutscene animations or player models.

I'm pretty sure its all due to the eye work. Most of the npcs were even wearing masks and they were wonderfully expressive. Its very detailed in how the eyes and eyebrows move. I think Gorak has mastered using the eyes of his models to express themselves due to the limitations of the models and the lack of voicework. I absolutely loved the side eye the Pillager made when doing his pose. If the eyes were off that pose would have been very awkward but it came off as showy and teasing due to how he angled it.

No, they not. Old models can mainly show expressions with eyes, and author know it. If you compare two models, old and new from one animator, which can work with both of them, you will be wrong, every time.

Being completely honest, i don't get why you are not getting way more views. Wowi t's hard (the channel) has videos with less effort (not saying less quality tho) and still manages to have almost 20 videos with over 1M views. Captain grimm has the same fate. I hope you channel explodes and becomes reference in the wow community such as Barny bee keeper and his scarab lord adventure. You have been one of the most consistent trough the years content creator regarding wow. I hope you don't get tired in the short term, but if you do, at least know that last year i had a severe fever, i didn't even wanted to play, but watching your videos made some of those days very enjoyable. Thanks :).
