If you think about it, Red and Cloud have a lot in common. Chiefly, they both feel out of place, and they've both been faking it. The difference is that Red feels out of place as a member of a different species, while Cloud just feels like something's wrong but he doesn't know what. Similarly, Red was pretending to be someone he knew he was not, meanwhile Cloud knows he's living a lie, but is mostly living it just because he doesn't know what the truth is. Considering how well-written everything else was, I'm surprised they never leaned into that at all.

I think it would be better if Red XIII used his deeper voice for the play. Though, hearing him using his higher pitch voice does make him seem his enjoying playing the part.

I will never not enjoy the Barret date. The original is goofy but rebirth has heart. Barret is a much improved character, I think they all are but Barret went from a stereotype to a guy who made mistakes and wants to protect others from doing the same.

I was shocked I got red as the date when Tifa had the highest points most my game. Even after the voice change I was disrespecting red every chance I got and he still shows up. Lucky I just needed to do 1 side quest to fix it.
