What guitar and foot petal are you using?

The guitar is an Ibanez S520EX. I think I was either using my old Digitech RP80 or I was going straight into my latptop soundcard and using my custom Guitar Rig 5 patch. Thanks for checking my cover out!

Thanks! I learnt the song by ear, and the solo's wholly improvised so I don't have tabs, unfortunately. Watching it back, it looks like I was basically following everyone's favourite scale - the pentatonic, haha.

What scale/mode did you use for the solo? I always used c# minor pentatonics and can't get it to fit

Hey, tbh I didn't really follow a particular mode or scale. I just kinda went with the flow. Sometimes, I find it's easier to do a solo if I just kinda sing what I want to play and then figure it out from there. Otherwise my fingers lead my brain rather than the other way around. It's just a matter of practice, my dude. Check out minor pentatonic scales and you'll be able to do stuff like this in your sleep in no time. I remember seeing a pentatonic lesson with Marty Schwartz a few years ago. Check it out! Good luck!

for a song suggestion, try either The Middle by Jimmy Eat World or Cocoon by Catfish and The Bottlemen both songs have good guitar solos, the middle is a little more faster, Cocoon is slower tempo but still very fun choose the one you like best
