My back spot is always there for me and if I’m falling she is gonna make sure that she’s underneath me and that I don’t get hurt. My base’s are incredible! They always try to push me to do my best and they do an amazing job! My front spot is amazing as well! She always makes sure that I'm doing good, am tight, and always smiling! I love my group!

I wasn’t a base in cheer but I was a back spot and I’ve literally used myself as a human cushion twice, caught a girl by the back of her shirt, have been elbowed in the nose and still caught the girl, etc. I’ve never dropped a girl. My coaches were very strict on it (as they should be). I’ve seen coaches and cheerleaders that just don’t care if a girl is dropped and that’s how my cousin ended up breaking her back. My take on it is a few bruised ribs from me is better then the flyer falling from a height that could do lasting damage for the rest of their lives.

@amandachilds5290 Жыл бұрын
@@GoofyGoober213 I didn't say she was an ex spotter, I don't know where you got ex spotter?? I said flyers make good spotters. I never said that particular girl was no longer a flyer AND was now only a spotter but the fact is you act like that's not an important job especially outside. A vigilant spotter can prevent serious injury including concussions! They deserve KUDOS🎉 I simply said flyers and former flyers, like say a girl grows too big after middle school due to growth spurts but is still great cheerleader and in HS boys are bases too so those types often make excellent spotters. That's just accurate and TRUE in general and was clear before you replied. I can't see how a cheerleader with a lot of experience would argue with that common sense. Not every place is huge and not all cheerleaders are on private competition squad High school teams, even state champs in two places I lived in have to use the students they get and some are great cheerleaders but have to be spotters on the big stunts because that's just the way it is and they are not just standing around waiting. 🤷 My comments are more general, big picture and not about this one specific girl other than I watched how she was spotting and noted she looked very ready and might've been a flyer before because they make really good spotters. But seems like you got confused or just we are basically having two completely different conversations and you don't seem aware, because you, for whatever reason, didn't read what I actually wrote... Maybe you were in a hurry? Who knows? Don't know you. Immaterial. You seem to want to argue too, but it's unnecessary. I don't have that kind of tone. Many of these comments and conversations are more broad than this set of particular human beings doing this one stunt because we (I and most people commenting) don't know them personally and bc it's not relevant bc that's simply how KZbin and train of thought works. KZbin is not a myopic medium. Be well, please read more carefully and know that not everyone, me included, is looking to squabble or troll online with anyone over trivial things. I for one am pretty somber and not sure why you picked up all my comments in various sections and replied to them as if I wasn't somber, good natured or didn't get the answers I was looking for or say clearly what I wanted to and meant... Especially when I asked the OG guy about his daughter and HE replied already🤔 It's odd bc most cheerleaders and coaches that I know are pretty jovial. That is a really good looking stunt group. The stunt is wow but what makes it really impressive is the speed, and how clean it is. The flyer is really making it pop with that speed and cleanliness

My best friend was a flyer, and I always cried happy tears watching her out on the field , cheer is such a hard sport, I was in tumbling but never did cheer and I give those girls major props

My cheer team has done all of these tons separately, but I don’t know how we could do them all together… That just seems like way too much coordination 😂

I just want to know how long it took them to perfect them, I mean just think about the amount of times one of them fell on their butt or face trying to get it right, the dedication is absolutely wonderful to see though this cheer group is incredible 💕
