Holler down the Hollow 2014 ... all star bluegrass band featuring Chuck Prophet, covering Lou Reed's Sweet Jane at the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival. Well bluegrass is to old timey as speed metal is to rock "n" roll. And although this version kicks it hard and is played with bluegrass instrumentation and I love it dearly,, it still doesn't really feel much like a bluegrass song. Heavy downbeat rhythm is not exactly the heart of a straight ahead bluegrass song. All that being said, I love this cover!
