Most roadies would still prefer a rigid fork over suspension fork. Since a suspension fork just adds extra weight on a bike. If there was any marginal gains benefit. Cyclocross and Paris-Roubaix would have adopted it. But for recreational gravel cyclist. A suspension fork do provide a level of comfort when riding off-road. If you aren't racing, comfort is more imporant than weight.

This 👍 I'm tempted to try a suspension fork on my cutthroat but I'm afraid I would remove it after a few rides cause the bike is awesome as it is already....

Syncline! I just did that ride TODAY! The foliage colors are amazing right now (this video must be a few weeks old)!! Yes, this is in the Columbia River Gorge, near the town of White Salmon on the Washington side. Coyote Wall is a sick ass line that at times gets 4 feet away from a cliff. Dustin, did you send Little Mohab? That, on drop bars, would have been fun to watch ;) I foresee a hardtail in your near future, which is awesome. My Ron is a Gene btw ;)

Alan I wish you had been on a recent EBD live with us. I talked about this very subject. I think it’s fun with the suspension. Not necessary though. It’s a trade off for control in the descents vs weight. If you do go with the fork I suggest wider bars.
