I love these videos don't get me wrong, but I think there's a lot of value from newer videos the church produces, particularly the book of mormon videos they've been making these past couple years.

OK, but look at the quilt pattern on his bed near the end. Alternating 9-patches with snowballed squares. You could run a color-theme through the X-es of the 9-patches and get a cool lattice illusion. Aaaannnnd, back to preparing my lesson for tomorrow . . .

As a Christian, I believe that standing before God in judgment is a sobering and important concept. According to the Bible, we will indeed be judged by our deeds (2 Corinthians 5:10). However, our ultimate standing before God depends not on our deeds alone but on our faith in Jesus Christ.Ephesians 2:8-9 teaches us, "For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast." This means that while our deeds are important and reflect our faith, it is God's grace through faith in Jesus that ultimately saves us.The comforting part of this belief is knowing that Jesus has already paid the price for our sins through His sacrifice on the cross (John 3:16). By accepting Him as our Savior and repenting of our sins, we are assured of God's forgiveness and eternal life. While I strive to live a life that honors God and reflects His love, I am also deeply grateful for His mercy and grace, knowing that I am not perfect and cannot earn salvation on my own. It’s a balance of striving to do good while resting in the assurance of God's grace.
