Great video, was able to mount a screen too on my NR200 :) Got a question.. I see you are using slim fans on the cooler. Would standard fans fit for a push/pull on the cooler? Am thinking of using Sickleflow fans.
@ghimtech
@ghimtech 3 жыл бұрын
I used the slim fans for cooler because of the tall and fat rams I’m using (Corsair vengeance rgb pro). If I were to use regular fans it will be pushing the rams. You can get away with the regular sickleflow if your rams are not as thick as the ones I’m using, so feel free to try it out first :)

great video! is the micro usb cable that comes with the display sufficient? or if you used a separate cable what length would be preferred? thanks
@ghimtech
@ghimtech 3 жыл бұрын
Thanks! The cable that comes included is not usable with the NR200P due to lack of space. A 90-deg cable is required as shown in the video. I used a 0.5m cable to reach the rear IO. Recently I've switched to a much shorter 0.2m internal USB cable instead (plugged in directly to the motherboard internal USB header).

One question, wouldn't it be more convenient for the cables to be routed through the hole beside the GPU slots? Because some 2.5 gpu slot user might not able to done it with this method.
@ghimtech
@ghimtech 3 жыл бұрын
yes you definitely can do that if you have a much thicker GPU and is blocking the 3rd pcie opening at the back. Also if it's a 2.5 slot gpu, you'd probably can still get away by routing them under the GPU. Just make sure the cables aren't interfering with the GPU fans :)
@roxboy5505
@roxboy5505 3 жыл бұрын
@@ghimtech Yea true, but 2.5 with a couple of slim fans at the bottom won't make it tho. Anyways, keep up the good work :)
@ghimtech
@ghimtech 3 жыл бұрын
@@roxboy5505 thank you :) also I don't think the bottom fans would be in the way of the cables you are trying to route it out behind to the rear I/O, there are still quite a bit of gap between the bottom fans (irregardless of regular or slim ones). One solution is to cable tie them neatly while you're routing so that it doesn't move around and interfere with both the gpu and bottom intake fans
@Argooh
@Argooh 3 жыл бұрын
You can put those cables out the side next to the gpu bracket part.. theres a gap there. No need to put them through the bracket. Anyone know the best way to colour the screens parts that are not black.. black?
