It took me a while to figure out how but you can also make vertical bars instead of just horizontal. Just go to the Bar tab in the Sensor item gauge and invert the Width and Height measurements. The bar displays vertically and AIDA automatically displays its progress in a vertical manner.

@@DanKamYouKnow Thanks! Just register in the AIDA64 forum so you can download the custom gauges/sensor panels people post. I got a lot of ideas from other people's designs, including the vertical bars, which nobody explained how to do! That took so long to figure out and was so easy to do...

Hey guys! Hope everyone is doing well. This video is a bit longer but Aida64 is a tricky program to use so I wanted to make sure I cover EVERYTHING to set up your sensor panel. If you found the video informative, please drop a like. If you end up creating your own panel, please join my Discord down below and show me what you have created! I know this is 2 years old but i really wanna say thank you so much for linking the alternative purchase to aida64. Words cant really justify how thankful i am. And to think i almost paid 50$ for aida64. I would have been pissed if i had later found out i could have gotten a key for a couple dollars. The least i can do is sub and like the video but if you have a donation thingy of any sorts let me know so i can donate for saving me half a bill.

Great tutorial - thank you! Do you have your sensor panel available for D/L because it's just what I'm looking for? Is there a reference sheet that explains the correct sensor panel list for the job from the menu? I'm not totally sure what displays what. Thanks again.
@DanKamYouKnow
@DanKamYouKnow Жыл бұрын
I made my template from scratch, I’m not sure what you mean by a reference sheet. You kind of just build it, piece by piece and size it to whatever size screen that you need it to fit. My panel would only fit exactly my size that I made it too. Really depends on your canvas size and where the panel will end up

I read my message again and yes, it's difficult to realize what I mean Lol. I refer to the list of sensor items in the list when you select NEW. I understand most of them and what they do but I was wondering if there was a white paper explaining each sensor and what it does. Your video was very helpful but there are some there that I was curious as to what they read/did. Peter

Great tutorial Dan,. How would you go about doing same thing but on a separate 3.5" lcd screen .
@DanKamYouKnow
@DanKamYouKnow Жыл бұрын
Thanks! I assume the LCD screen has an HDMI out to plug into the graphics card? All you would do is set up Aida64 to have the exact same panel size as the 3.5” LCD screen. Then drag the panel over to the LCD screen.

You setup the sensor panel to be the exact size you want for where it’s going. So if it’s going on 1920x1080p monitor and it’s going to stay there, you set up the panel as 1920x1080p

so how do you send the sensor panel to a separate monitor ie 3.5 inch screen in the pc case?
@DanKamYouKnow
@DanKamYouKnow 2 жыл бұрын
So, when you create the sensor panel, you make the panel the exact same resolution as the place where you want it ( your 3.5” screen ). Then once your finish, you just drag and drop the panel onto your separate monitor.

@Sulto if your using the little screen 3.5 inch one then you will have to use a separate programme ( driver ) to run it as I’ve found out doing a friends computer, but using a monitor connected to gpu then you use the Aida 64

I downloaded AIDA64 and it does not look anything like you have. If you are going to make a video on a certain software show what screen will look like by default after you install it and then show how to customize the screen step by step.
@DanKamYouKnow

AIDA64 starts out completely blank, you have to populate the panel, just as I exactly outline in the video. Did you even watch or skim through ANY of the video at ALL?!? At 9:48, I start out with the blank panel and literally go over step by step, how I got there. There’s even chapters to find the “setting up the panel” part. 🙄

@@DanKamYouKnow My AIDA64 Extreme starts already populated from the get go. It is version 7.00. If it was me and making the video I would have started with a blank screen and go on from there to show people how to add gauges etc. I will play it again all the way through but I don't to mess up what is on my screen until I learn it better. I already messed up part of the screen and the only way I could figure out out how to fix it was to delete the software and start over again. Is there a way to save what you have on the screen so you can go to it if you screw something up? Thanks for responding.
