Rascsi is a blessing, I've got it hooked on my s3000xl and 950. No computer in my studio but Rascsi means I can make disc images and upload them from my desktop in a completely different room (and not have to load 10 floppy images off my gotek to do so...).

@@TheBizzyBScience yup, came in the unit when i bought it (IB-109). Honestly not that amazing for the 950 though - you fill the whole ram with 1-2 floppys anyway. For the 32mb 3000 its a different story of course.

As long as you have a scsi interface, I will be checking out the s1000 next , as I have heard that it does not work well with it

Yeah man, its a good sampler , Great for bouncing amiga stuff to for extra outputs, Not enough room for any more tech! LOL

Hello there! Is it possible to use the RaSCSI to send from Recycle to the sampler as we used to do back in the days? Thank you for your videos, they are very useful!

If you have usb on your sampler ie s5000 you can chop up the files and simply drag and drop the cut files into the sampler

Using a Zulu on my EMU - I could not get a RASCI as I couldn't find any Pi Zeros in-stock :( I do wish to get my hands on one though. Having things networkable is a huge game-changer.

Just tinkering with a zuluscsi on my s5k tonight , it's a bit weird , how's it working for you. Not sure if I like tge whole hd1,2 3 thing for file labelling. And somthing weird happened , I formatted the hd1 image using my s5ks idisk utility and now I can use the whole sd card as a drive, and read it on my mac too, so I got to study it a bit more, to understand the pros and cons.

Hey folks, love these S5000 machines!!!! make a lot of tracks back in the day with ONLY this Monster..... But now, i fully maxed out everything, incl. the usb card, BUT in need DRIVERS for win xp. Does anyone have it? Please i need it! Also, i work with the mpc4000 with ak.sys. Because of that it makes definately sense to connect the s5000 and transferring back and forth between the two AKAIS. Anyone? Thanxxxxxxxx!

I mean for the price and the headache of setting up the pi for some an HXC usb would be the best bet

Unless its all pre-set up for you hxc is harder to configure imo, you have to figure out the jumper settings, flash it with firmware if you buy a cheap one from aliexpress, figure out how to make the right type of images etc, I found rascsi way less of a headache to set up from scratch actually.

@@yarnf I guess if you can get a rascsi and a pi in this current market then great. Average prices of them without the pi in the states seems to be $80. Easier and cheaper for a hxc all configured
