Apple claimed they done this for safety reasons, due to bad 3rd party batteries. To date I have seen more bulging genuine batteries than 3rd party batteries and they have just made changing a battery a much higher risk repair.

I think it's necessary for stable and safe welding. Because battery is about power supply&managing, if the connection isn't that stable&safe, it might bring safety problem or threat to users.

Maybe other reasons, but that's what we suppose: 1- If battery doesn't power on, probably the battery cell and board weren't welded well; 2- If powering on works but warning message still there, probably the older battery wasn't genuine battery

The theory is that battery data was binded with motherboard, so when you change the battery or the motherboard, the warning message will pop out. So as long as the battery matches the board, the notification will disappear.

Nope, we dont' think so. Because battery has nothing to do with Face ID. We suppose probabbly because they damaged dot projector during repair battery, which caused the Face ID problem.

pls pay attention here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qZuydHx6Za6Ba8k. If the anode and cathode were connected occasionally, the battery board will get burn and short circuited. The 2nd possibility is the battery cell wasn't soldered properly with battery board, which led the battery stop working.

If this message pop out, it means your battery isn't genuine battery from Apple. So if you change a new battery it will still pop out.

I think it's the motherboard issue(if you battery could charge 100% b4 you replace motherboard), but if you replace the motherboard, it means you have to do so. So we suggest you change another battery(brand new) to install and test if could be charged 100%. If not, then replace the board and test the old battery.

The battery health can’t be fixed any more, Bcuz the iPhone won’t recognize the new battery. Unless you replace the new battery board with genuine battery board(if u still have it), then the battery health works again, even with old battery data.
