I wish these were still available! Mine is an absolute mess.... anything that can break, has broken, but it's still a solid build in terms of structure. It's just been on too many journeys, house moves and endured too many house parties. Best case I've ever owned.
@GibbysMounds2 жыл бұрын
randomly decided to stop by and watch this yesterday as I have owned this exact case for almost a decade now and its still going strong. But this whole time I never knew you could rotate the side fans to the front for more airflow. Just decided to rotate them yesterday and now the whole rig runs about 10 c cooler now. 10/10, worth coming back to watch, but also feeling dumb af for not knowing that for years...

Just got this case and it's FANTASTIC. My favorite feature is the motherboard riser holes are labeled A, B, C, D, etc ... And then inside the case it tells you which holes by letter you should put the risers in for every size, mATX through EATX. Lots of thoughtful things like that! Great product.

@TheIronTank that's exactly what they did. The frame of the chassis is steel, both handles at the top are welded to the frame, thus why such large carrying capacity.

This is an awesome case in every aspect. Watercooling setups are easy, as well as awesome airflow. 4 included fans, with plenty more spacing for more with keep even the hottest components cool. The look is just plain sexy. Integrated fan controller, led buttons, and hot-swap x dock are awesome additions. Ive seen other full towers $100 more and not have nearly this many features. I will definitely be buying this case.

It is 2016, bought this case 5 years ago and i still think it is the best. it is running 320 days/nights per year continuously and not even one problem with it. at this rate i think i will use it for next 5 years minimum, maybe even longer... this case and SSD are the best improvements i had on my PC in years!

Fractal Design Define XL fits it well, and it's a pretty solid and reliable case. That case also comes with sound dampering foam pre-installed, so it's quiet as well. Keep in mind I am merely looking at the prices in my own country (which are almost the same as the US prices 99% of the time) so it might be more expensive or cheaper in the US.

Triple Rad Support is a GO! ^^ I got rid of the 200mm Fan on Top and put an Fractal Design Celsius S36 in...without modifying the Case! Ok one of the 3x Fans is covert almost but it works. XD Temp for my Intel 3930k@4.7GHz 1,36V (24/7) are under 75° full load with Prime95. 3x PowerColor AMD 390X Hybrid. 1x Rad on the backside and 2x Rads on the Left Panel...still room at the bottom for a 240 Rad if you remove the SSD Tray & the hidden Toolbox. Bonus: 1x 120-240 Rad in front if you dont use optical drives! So still loving this Case in 2017

I had the same question, but the Formula is 12 by 10.1 inches, standard atx is 12 by 9.6 inches, so the formula is only half an inch wider, and judging by the mounting holes, its just a fatter atx board ------but this case supports E atx so you'll be fine-----

I wouldnt say ugly, but it has a more rugged look. Was debating between this and the Cosmos II. Eventually decided on the Storm Trooper because of it size. The Cosmos II is massive, about 4 inches taller and wider. Its an amazing case but you need a lot of space for it.

Writing from my primary account (Same person lol) - The H100i is the best cooler I've ever used. The fans can be somewhat loud when under heavy pressure, but other than that it's fairly quiet, and cools pretty good. It's keeping my i5 2500k at 27 - 30c idle with a 4.3 Ghz OC.

There are only 3. The rest are basically just for a same look on the front, they can only be used if you remove the HDD cages.
@805987513 жыл бұрын
@Xuvial there isnt really its just that the HDDs always behind the front fans...and to add a little diversity and option they simply put an option to put the fan sideways to cool ur HDD only. Just an option not really an emphasis. I bet 99% use the front fan config.

I love this case. So great. Wish that it had a 3rd fan location at the front and wish that it took 140mm fans in the front rather than just 120mm, and as you stated, I would liked to have had a triple rad in the top. The carrying handle has came in hand when I moved my computer, and worked wonders. Also doubles as a location to hold your headset. For those worried about sound, you can block up the side vents with some sound dampening, which allows for quieter operation while still keeping the amazing look (I am talking about the side panel window version specifically since the vent is much smaller). I also blocked off top 3 drive bays with the same material. I did this to make sure there is more positive pressure in the case to help push air through the rad while fans on the top assist with pulling.

@TheIrredeemable I'm planning on running it with an H70 cooler + 6950 reference + 6950 twin frozr III. I just don't know if cpu temps will be OK with that hot air...

I did play GTA IV on win8 for a while, dunno how episodes behave. I had no problems at all. As long as you can get ALL the drivers (chipset, cpu, gpu & peripherals) for win8 it will work. So make sure to check them out before switching, you don't even wanna see how weird problems can appear w/o some drivers. Same for frameworks. I have seen some having problems with GTA IV, so decide yourself after reading on the topic.

Win8 is same windows, Ive been using it with a mouse for the last half a year, and have been successfully playing games, doing some 3D modelling, programming and procrastinating. To answer some peoples weird questions here: Can it fit E-ATX? - Yes, it can. This or HAF X? - Depends on your need. Cooling wise, this one is the better one.
