YOU feel old? I watched the TRULY greatest comeback in college basketball history on January 19, 1974: when Notre Dame defeated UCLA 71-70 to break UCLA’s 88-game winning streak. This happened despite there being NO SHOT CLOCK, NO 3-POINT LINE, AND NOTRE DAME BEING DOWN 70-59 WITH 3:32 TO GO!!! And the Bruins led ND 43-34 at half-time. Keep in mind, this was a UCLA team that from 1967 to 1973 had won more National Championships (7) than they had losses (5) during that stretch. And UCLA shot 52% that game, with Bill Walton going 12 for 14 for 24 points. How did they do it? Notre Dame out-rebounding the Bruins and forcing turnovers at the end of the game. Talk about mind-blowing! Some of us were banging our TV’s on the side thinking they went on the fritz! Hey, just because it happened almost 50 years ago doesn’t make it any less impressive. Maybe you should re-title your video, “The Greatest College Basketball Comebacks That I Can Remember.” Some of the most truly jaw-dropping things in sports happened before some of us were around - me included - hard as it is to believe. I enjoyed your video, but was awe-struck when I didn’t see that UCLA-Notre Dame basketball game classic for the ages included. Great video otherwise.

I remember watching the Texas A&M game. I was a neutral that match, but I won't lie, I was rooting for Texas all the way. It was probably one of the most insane moments in sports history. But I won't lie, 2016 was a crazy year, my Villanova Wildcats took the tourney with the buzzer beater 3 in the finals. I almost broke my TV. Portugal won the 2016 Euros. My Leicester team, won their one and only premiership title, biggest underdog story in sports. Cleveland does the biggest comeback in NBA Finals history from 3-1 down, rip my hometown team. The World Series and the Super bowl were actually really insane that year too. 2016 was just a good year for sports

You should cover "rollercoaster" games like this with multiple comebacks: down 10+ points, comeback to lead by 10+ points only to lose that lead. Would be 🔥 good vid bro. So many fouls on A&M that weren't called. Whenever the ref called a foul, it was on UNI. Refs definitely had money on A&M, which was very frustrating as I was cheering for UNI that tournament. Clearly one of the reasons why UNI lost. Although they could've done better with handling the ball. See the inbound on A&M (#10) at 5:37 clearly making contact with UNI #4 #3 on A&M at 5:51 CLEARLY grabbing the hip of the #20 UNI, not allowing him to catch the ball At 6:13, UNI #4 CLEARLY puts 2 arms up in the air, allowing A&M player to get the free layup, but somehow still called for a foul The MOST OBVIOUS of them ALL: at 6:27, #3 and #10 on A&M CLEARLY push the UNI player to the sideline (trying to force him out of bounds) until UNI player could barely stay up straight, they force him to make a bad throw (by committing multiple fouls not getting called in this sequence) And yes, I am still pissed at how this game was decided even 6 years later (or how many years ago). They could've been a cinderella team had they won, who knows how many more games they could've won.

@@hardwood_yt Notre Dame trailed UCLA by 11 points with 3 minutes left -- and UCLA had not lost a game in three years. Also, there was no 3-point shot or shot clock in college ball then. The Bruins had three superb ball handling guards, and they were the greatest team ever. Yet suddenly, inexplicably, they forgot how to play the game. For the next three minutes, they gave up 12 consecutive points, missing all six of their shots, making unforced turnovers. It was the most uncanny, implausible 3 minutes in sports history. In 1998, Duke led Kentucky by 17 in the second half of the regional final. It looked over and done with. Kentucky put a small lineup in and turned it around. Let me also say, I'm sorry I came across as hostile in my post. I shouldn't have. You're a good person.
