I interpret it the same as The Mockingbird and the Crow. The chorus is him sarcastically writing a “hit” modern country song-The Mockingbird. Him rocking out is the Crow, what he enjoys.

July 8, 2023 live concert at Hodag, Rhinelander Wis....Never heard of this guy ...Our seats were 50 feet from the just left of center.....he came out with this mild guitaring and before you know it...wham! holly crap batman, i was blown away...the best country rippin good cookie, Sold out is my fav. Heavy metal country with a NO twang. love it. But NO live Bass player...what the &^$%! i play bass....pretty disapointed in that but the synced low end was pretty powerfull. Unless the guy was behind stage...i dont know. could be.
