Moissanites are REAL gemstones, just like diamonds. Lab created gemstones are the SAME as natural gemstones, chemically. Just much more affordable, nearly as hard. They have more fire than diamonds as well. They're the most brilliant gemstones on earth.

Dammit, this spinning was confusing me. But there is no fake moissanite. Wolfspeed & ROHM are the reason why moissanite is cheap. There is no Chinese moissanite conspiracy coating moissanite on CZ. Moissanite is cheap because they need SiC MOSFET. But you’re right that lab diamonds aren’t going to appreciate in value either. So maybe diamond coated moissanite is the way to go to pass the diamond/moissanite tester.

I learned this lesson the hard way in my early 20s unfortunately. Small diamonds have absolutely no re sell value. They sparkle and look ok. I would pay a lot of gold not small diamonds. Mossonite is tue way to go period
