My brother collects all Canadian paperbacks...he has multiple copies of some of the books you showed.

I think I kind of prefer the rougher looking Australian reprint covers. It's kind of fun if it was a conscious decision. It looks cool cleaned up too though.

Perhaps the book with the Butterflies on the cover art is a play on the saying 'Moths to a flame' ie. the the men attracted to the girl :-)
