Appreciate the vid. Didn't need to see your connections although others thought it was absolutely necessary lol! Thanks again!

so today after washing 06 TC88 Road King, NO start. Fuel pump ok. Good spark, NO code. I degresed the crud from around the crank position sensor and connector. Pulled the CKP connector and flushed with elec cleaner, pulled the sensor to clean and inspect. I dont know about the ohms values or what they mean, but tested the sensor with ohmmeter anyway. This showed only on the M ohm scale at M_ 0.996. Dunno what that means in terms of sensor reliability, guess I got to do research. Anyway, after reassembly (with dialectric grease to the connecting terminals) She's fired off! Gonna go ahead with runnimg my saturday errands......

For all the people complaining about you can't see in this video shows you don't know your way around a bike at all. He got his point across ! If you don't understand whats going on take your bike to a shop. You might break a nail working on it anyways!

You put a lot of faith in the neutral light.. I would never start the bike without having the clutch pulled in.. think about you're working with something that has an electrical problem I'm not going to trust the electrical pulse to tell me my bike isn't going to go flying through the garage when I hit the starter.. Just saying

just found my coil was getting power but no spark ... check the OHMS and was low on primary and none on the secondary which is the coil wire side, and bought another one and started right up... Haha...

my roadking is showing anywhere from 2 mega ohms to 450 M ohms , but has a good 5 volt pulse on the oscilloscope, crank/ no spark , 12volts but no signal to coil n no fire , pretty sure it’s the CPS just don’t see how when it’s producing good voltage? No codes

well if you know how to use a meter then you maybe will have a reading of a bad sensor i think this is what he is trying to show... a good sensor has a reading and a bad sensor has a reading ... so do not just go buy a sensor and install it and hope for the best. first use a meter and see if you need to get a new crank sensor man... don't just waste time and money to pop in new parts... i know this video is not well made... but the point is use a meter... Haha... be smart like you know what you are doing....

Sorry buddy was a one-man operation. I’m just trying to help people out not trying to win awards here I didn’t help you move along have a nice day. And if you wanted to know what I was doing and you don’t then you probably shouldn’t be messing with your bike at all anyway. If I have a two wire sensor out and I’m trying to ohm it out I’m gonna be touching the two wires in the plug to one each side of the ohmmeter wires. Again sorry didn’t please you. Can’t please everyone.

So you really didn’t need to say anything. If you know what I’m doing in the video the readings are all that matters. Someone should not be watching this video trying to fix their bike if they don’t know what it is to ohm out a sensor
