Good weekend task ... I strongly suggest that you buy a hydraulic press as opposed to a hammer to remove any bearing or clutch hub ... also when unscrewing any bolts please use a ratchet first to break bolt then you can remove all bolts with your drill or low torque impact wrench. Remember most bolts have either blue or red locktite and breaking a bolt initially with an impact wrench will one day bite you in the rear. Other than that 👍

I did the clutch on my Honda. Are use the Barnett carbon fiber clutch kit for it. I wasn't sure what I was going to find when I toured apart. My clutch was still working as long as I wrote it normally. But if I gave it some throttle the clutch would slip. When I got it tore apart I could've easily just replace the springs. The original springs were quite weak. The new clutch works great in mine.

I need your advice. In the video, you install 10 friction-plate In the manual, i saw 1 seat damper-spring(37883-98), 1spring damper(37884-98), 9 friction-plate, and 8 steel plate. You didn't install the seat damper-spring(37883-98) and spring damper(37884-98). Instead, you installed 10 friction-plate. Can I use 10 friction-plate and 9 steel plate without using the seat damper-spring(37883-98) and spring damper(37884-98) when changing plates?

Sonny, do you think your solid sprocket "compensator delete" was the cause? I just removed my compensator in favor of a 34 tooth sprocket myself, a lot of folks are telling me I should get a billet clutch basket now cause the stock cast baskets like to snap with a solid comp delete.

Hi Travis, I got your message on Facebook and responded. I believe if it isn't broken don't fix it. The one you currently have could last 200k the one I replaced here was at 100k. Most bikes don't make it near those miles

I see your problem. You've got 3 motorcycles and one nut to keep them running.🧐😮😞😫🤔 I wonder if you realized that the spline shaft must be replaced as well. Prolly not. You'll be doing that clutch job over in anothen 1000 miles - or sooner. YOU NEVER NEVER NEVER POUND ON OR PUT PRESSURE ON THE INNER BEARING RACE. You've prolly destroyed the bearing. Well now it's a question of which part of your clutch will fail first the splines or the bearing. Be interesting to see in your next video in a month or two. But thanks for the video and thanks for reminding me why I should never buy a bike from a self maintainer. PS I really can't believe you worked as a Toyota Mechanic. So many bad practices.
