Nice bike. I had the Fat Boy S, same engine. 2016 model year. Fast, and really nice, 6000 miles later,one speed shift and the cam chain tensioner let go, a cam lobe was wiped out,lifter trashed ...got a 2017 Electra glide,and a 2018 Street glide now, both with the M-8 107ci.engine. I love them both. HD rider since 1978, rode many other manufacturers bikes also. Keep yer knees in the breeze brother.!

Yes!!!! Blockhead I commented in one of your previous posts that I was inspired to get the Iron by your videos. When I went to my local Harley dealer, they told me to try the Dyna. Long story short I got a street bob, and I'm so happy for you on the low rider!! I'm glad I started bigger.

If you're considering a sportster build, I suggest going back to a fuel injected 883 and giving it a hammer 1275 conversion kit to bring it in the 100hp range, also it would be extremely exciting to see a how to video if you feel able to do the kit by yourself, the kit is 700 to 800$$, ride safe brother love your vids

yeah, thats basically what im doing, its just going to be screamin eagle instead of hammer performance. theyll be doing heads, jugs, pistons, cylinders, cams, clutch spring, and efi tune. ( i may be missing something there).

CONGRATS BROTHA!! That's a hell of an upgrade, but I knew it was gonna happen as soon as I "heard" your smile on the first test ride with Eric. :) LOL edit: Also, I heard you say in the vid that it has ABS. That's awesome, but take it from experience, if you want taller bars, get the dealer to install them. Bleeding an ABS brake system requires some fancy machine that only Harley has apparently. That why I didn't get taller bars, would have needed longer lines, which would have required a brake bleed.

Welcome to the Dyna family, trust me there's no turning back. I'm so happy for you. Same thing happened to me I own an 2016 iron and I love it, but once I test rode the low rider s I just had to get a Dyna so I ended up getting a 2017 street bob because I kept my sporty. Lucky Daves, Saddleman step up seat and bassani road rage. You will love it. Once again it's all about that Dyna life😬 congrats brother!

I put some 12" mini apes and a larger quarter fairing on mine. I am also using the normal low rider seat. It totally changed the dynamics of the bike.

I literally just rode one today that had the upgrade to the 117ci at a demo event. It was the only bike that made me think about trading in my softy for half a second. I will never get rid of my softy since it was passed down to me by my old man, but I did think about for a hot minute after I got off this bad boy.

Welcome to the S club! I give your hero blobs about a week before they are gone - the upgraded suspension is inspriing in the curves. Let us know if the bike tries to run out from under you when you pin the throttle - I got a Corbin Wall for my S to keep my butt planted instead of trying to slide off onto the rear fender o.O A nice if expensive problem to have! Last pro-tip: Do NOT ride a 117" Lowrider S until after you hit the lottery. Like you said, never ride a bigger bike if you're happy with the one you have now... You have been warned! :D
