Just got my sand pearl white fxlrst... traded in my (what I thought was the best-looking bike HD ever made) 2019 Road King Special. That all changes when they dropped the lowrider st last year. Then my sales rep at CTXHD told me they were coming in white for the 23 year model. That completely changed my mind on what the best looking bike ever made was! Yeah... I said it... ever made. Harley or not. By far the best Harley I've owned... sportster, dyna, touring. Complete game changer.

I just recently bought a Triumph Tiger 900 Rally Pro. While the bike in of itself is a great bike, it has just proven to be too tall for me, and hard to handle once off the bike due to the higher center of gravity due to the height. I noticed a sand pearl white FXLRST was in stock at my local HD dealer so I went to scope it out since I've been eyeballing this bike since it came out. I figured that this would be the bike I got if I ever got a Harley. I was able to set eyes on the bike, sit on it, and take it for a test ride. I fell in love right away. I can certainly tell you that once I pay off this Triumph a bit so I can trade it in, I'm getting myself one of these bad boys. I just can't stop thinking about it since my test ride. It is a wonderful machine.

And that they do, they play a lot of games no matter which one you go to. They try and squeeze every single penny out of you and that’s only if you just say yes to whatever they say. You have to be firm with what you’re willing to pay and as long as it’s reasonable they’ll try and act like it’s impossible for them to do but if you stick to your guns you can get yourself a “good deal”

I just bought this bike last week. Waiting on my new seat and passenger accessories for my wife. Popped some tab slip ons with the zombie baffles. She is loud. It came with the speakers (which I wasn't really interested in) and now I won't be able to really hear them. Had to snatch it up, cuz I know they'll be hard to come by. It's a tease at the moment sitting in the garage. It's not riding season here in the gettysburg PA region. Thanks for the video

I traded my 2019 Iron 883 for a 2022 gunship grey S and I love it. I almost went with the ST because it looked amazing, but I ultimately wanted to do my own fairing and bags (even though the asymmetrical bags don't bug me, but I get why it bothers other people). A very fun bike to rip around on and a huge leap from an 883. Anyone on the fence, I say do it!

Love the 2022 Lowrider ST and S but went for the S since all my riding is local. I agree, it's the best Harley I've owned. Plenty of power, best suspension on any stock bike I've owned and handles wonderfully. As you mentioned I'm also going to change out the bars for ones that bring the grips closer. At 5'6" I can easily flat foot the bike, the air filter is far enough away that I'm not banging my knee against it and mid controls will probably be comfortable for anyone 6' or less. Cruise control, standard on th ST but I added to my S model, will be a must on any future bike I own. It takes some of the stress of my shoulders and allows a periodic ability to flex the right arm on longer rides.

As far as handling it's a toss up between the Pan Am and the Lowrider. But I find myself riding the lowrider almost every day. It's insane!🏍😁👍✌️

@Sanjin Uravić I installed bilit forward controls with mini floorboards, a mustache engine gaurd that HD says will not work. I switched out the fancy intake (sticks out from the heads 8") to a screaming eagle ventilator ( it's only 2.5"), I added a kraus pullback plate to raise the stock risers 2" and back 2". If search for FXLRST groups you can join a rather large one (over 6 thousand members) that you can quiz others about what they have done (including photos) and get ideas and what can be done. My handlebar change made a big difference in the way is sit and did not require cable length changes. There are also KZbin subs that have made vids on how to do these changes. Check out Holy Shift he's done quite a few good luck!

That Atari display from the 60s look ridiculous for a $23K bike. Does it come with a magnifying glass so you can read what's on the display? You're talkin about LED turn signals? $25K Street Glide 107 comes with halogen head lights and no LED. I thought the German guy would bring a little more common sense tech to the bikes, but my bad!

Circumstances last year led to me having a 2022 low rider S and ST, getting rid of one and it’s a really hard choice lol, prob gonna keep the S and make it more customized to my look, but I was glad to I got to at least put miles on the ST too, realistically the only trip I’ll probably do in a few months is follow my family down to the beach house we have it’s 3hrs away so it’s not bad, I want to tour eventually but don’t see that really happening for a while The ST was amazing but for the riding I’m mainly doing the low rider s weighing 20-30lbs less is nice

I like that the hands stay in the wind. I'd rather wear gloves in the cold than burn up in the heat. There is nothing better about inverted forks on street bikes. They provide a little less unsprung weight and fork flex on race bikes, but I can beat my Road Kings floorboards to death in corners and the conventional forks work just fine. I'm sure the fancy stuff they put on the King of Bagger bikes works great on a track, but it'd be overkill on the street with weight/speed/cornering limitations of HDs. It does make the bike look sportier though. Maybe add a tad more confidence in 70+ mph sweepers, but then you're risking your neck with tires made for longevity, not corner speed. I've owned many of both types forks on bikes that go around corners much faster than HDs and I couldn't tell you the difference on the street. That said, the new Showa bending valve dampers have made new HDs FAR superior to old ones. The old ones felt like riding in a 70s Buick. Like being on a cloud with no feeling of connection to the road. I suspect the newer springs are stiffer than the old ones too. They feel like a much newer Buick to me now. Bike looks good, but the ergos are ass. It needs a seat like the Fat Bob. The scooped out seat and high mid-pegs make me feel like I've fallen in a toilet with the lid up whenever I've been on one. I like the tan white color with the rusty trim. Needs more trim definition of the engine though. I love the simple cockpit. So tired of seeing bikes with big screen TVs strapped on the dash. What the hell am I doing, riding a motorcycle or playing Angry Birds? Price is a bit insane for a bike you can't even take a passenger on, but I'm sure HD will still sell a ton of them. Hell, maybe even to me. Your ride did look like fun.

I really love the Low Rider ST and at the same time hate HD for the details case in point being the bags. So you buy the bike and fair enough you do the normal Harley tax, of doing a Stage one and fitting a new exhaust (probably a 2-1 as that is what suits her the most), and that is when the asymmetric bags start to look lame. Result 1k for exhaust/tuning and another 2k to fix the bags. It starts to become stupid in $$$$, when they really could have fitted a 2-1 as it was in the Sport Glide. That is excluding some other cosmetic bits....

You can get one of these for 26 000 eur in Europe. Paying this much you’ll get a microscopic dashboard. The seat and foot pegs just for the driver and not for the passenger. Turn indicators from 20 century. Then you’ll have to modify the exhaust to make it sound like a Harley and not like a suing machine. Well in the end for this amount I’d better get an Indian Chieftain.

I want two things: Same size bags (what company makes them!?) and lowers in the style of the Road Glide. I love the FXRT but the lowers being made do not match the bike, let's be honest! The ST deserves its own style, I taped up some RG lowers to it and it would look great with the chin spoiler and angular style lowers. PLEASE! SOMEONE MAKE THESE. The other thing... Harley... when you black out a bike FFS do the push rod tubes. All in all I LOVE my ST it is an incredible ride.

I chose a new road glide, the fairing on the ST is takeoff on a older model maybe a police special! It looks ok, but the new Road Glide is really way better looking? My opinion granted, where are the lowers like the road glide has, they give more protection and can be opened up in hotter weather! The motors Milwaukee eight makes all of them faster! The Road glide is fast enough, what’s the hurry anyway??? They’re all good, yes the ST is lighter, and I like that, it’s gonna be faster and that’s good too! I still like the fairing mounted to the frame in high winds! Yes I’m a dinosaur sticking with the newest Road Glide!

In fact I wished they would bring back the Springer with a 21” front wheel, with the Milwaukee eight motor!

Love the bike. Not a big a fan of the Pearl White, we’ll see what future colors are offered.

A lot of people have been asking for an actual color. I'm curious if they plan to do one or just stay with the neutral theme.

I liked the ST but not set up great for a tall guy, but had the El Diablo not came out 2 weeks after I bought my RGS there would be one in the garage.

The old Dyna mids are further back than the S/ST controls... These are just slightly wrong for my preferences.

They are. I think there is or was some newer softail models that this was the case on as well.

I traded my sport bike for a 2023 FXLRST. I’m faster on the twisties on the ST. Great bike!

For the price, you might as well go for the Street Glide.

If you get the matching bags from the aftermarket company would they come with keys or would you get locks to match the original key?
@throttleblip9854

Good question. I'd imagine they probably require you move all of your hardware over from the old bags. Locks, mounting hardware etc would just drive up the cost for them and you.

dang you hate regular lights! 😆 they have their place, but not on a more modern styled bike. LED would look terrible on like, a heritage. on bikes like this the incandescent lights look weird next to the LED headlight and tail light. very odd choice for HD, maybe they're just cost cutting by getting rid of a warehouse full of old lights

I rode this the other day and it handles very well. But for what it is, the price is.. well… ouch. Naturally, this is compared that every other manufacturer when you compare price to product.

Yeah it gets pricey. Then again I bought one of Harleys cheaper bikes, the Softail Standard at 15k. Im prob around 30k into it and not done. I guess it comes down to what you want on a bike and what you can live without. I wish I could fine a bike that was perfect out of the box just hasn't happened yet.

Thanks mate. Liked and subscribed:). Does it corner better than the Lowrider S? I heard that the forks are elevated. Thinking about buying a second bike in a year or so and this, the non st version and the Fat Bob are on the shortlist

Am I the only one who thinks the ST is fugly? That front fairing is hideous and the sport glide side panniers looks cheap. Much prefer the LRS.
